One hospitalized after crash with Houston Fire Department engine – Chron

One person was hospitalized after their car crashed with a Houston Fire Department engine in southwest Houston Friday night.

The wreck took place around 8:30 p.m. at Ludington Drive and Fondren Road as firefighters responded to an emergency call. Passengers had to be extracted out of the civilian vehicle, and one person was transported with injuries to a local hospital.

“Preliminary reports indicate that the civilian vehicle got in the way of E-82,” HFD tweeted.

No firefighters were taken to the hospital.
