Welcome to the first part of your ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Course.
I’m Sandra Hespe, Certified ServSafe® Instructor and Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor for the National Restaurant Association. I’ll be your instructor for the training & exam. We have a lot of food safety principles to cover in a short amount of time so please study the information packet at least 2 weeks before class. The information packet will be emailed to you after you complete the registration process.
ABOUT THE CLASS
The ServSafe® Manager Certification verifies that a manager or person-in-charge has sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from foodborne illness. The ServSafe® Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the Conference for Food Protection Standards. Certification is valid for 5 years.
DAY OF THE EXAM
You will need to bring pencils, notebook, photo I.D. and a WiFi ready, Windows or Mac, laptop, mac book or full size iPad or Windows mobile tablet (with power cord) to take the exam on. It is highly recommended that you bring a lunch and/or bottled water. Picnic tables are available.
