Get A Sneak Peek Of Houstons Art Car Show This Weekend – Houston, TX Patch

HOUSTON — The 32nd Annual Houston Art Car gets underway this weekend, but you can still get a sneak peek at some of the funkiest rides in the Bayou City before they roll through downtown H-town on Saturday.

Houstonians took part in a preview at George R. Brown Convention Center on Thursday afternoon, giving Patch readers a chance to see some of the unique creativity that goes into this annual event.

Some serious wood working skills really went into making this beauty, but it’s likely not a car you want to get wet.

A car show just isn’t worthy of being called a Houston car show unless one of them is painted in the colors of the Astros, Texans, Rockets, Dynamo or Sabercats.

There are dozens more cars that will take part in the Houston Art Car Show this weekend in downtown. The show happens Saturday at 2 p.m., rain or shine at Sam Houston Park near City Hall.
